I used to think that all business decisions should be based on data. Now I think that the most important decisions need to be driven by your vision and intuition.

This week, Rick and I discuss what can be done with customer expectations aren't met. I'm particularly interested in the dilemma that if you warn people about potential issues before they happen, they'll often ignore the warnings (e.g. not read text, not watch videos), so how do you communicate avoidable issues without getting ignored?

What I've been working on

I'm on vacation right now, so not much! This is my first >1 week vacation in a long time, and it's long overdue. I've taken a few days here or there, but I'm realizing now that those shorter breaks didn't let me fully recharge. This break has been great, and I should be ready to hit the ground running when I get back in town next week.
